Nestled in Cashiers Valley in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Wade Hampton Clubhouse consists of 14,300 square feet of airy, comfortable space . As you enter the Clubhouse, the rustic, inviting Living Room with its large, stone fireplace burning, captures your attention and the ambiance gives you the feeling of "being home" in the mountains.
The Tavern hosts a continental breakfast every morning during the week, lunch 6 days a week and new extended evening hours Tuesday-Sunday for a casual dinner. It is a comfortable area for our members and their guests to sit by the fire on cool mountain days. Large screen televisions offer the latest golf tournaments on the Golf Channel along with a variety of sporting events being featured on any given day. A new, expanded deck offers amazing views of Chimney Top Mountain and our 18th fairway and green. Our Executive Chef Doug has created an exciting menu to go with this special new addition and our traditional Friday night "Gathering" will now be held in this beautiful new space.
"The Porch" is the most popular spot for both lunch and dinner with the stunning view of Chimney Top Mountain framing the 18th fairway and green. Members can “sit at the rail” and enjoy dining in the fresh air while still being protected from afternoon mountain showers. Outside below on the natural stone patio, umbrella covered tables provide the perfect place to enjoy lunch on a pleasant afternoon or an early evening cocktail with family and friends.
"The Pavilion", with the crackling of wood burning in the fireplace, provides an elegant, relaxed setting for an a la carte dinner, or our signature Friday Night Gathering. Seating between 54 and 110 people, this room is the perfect place to enjoy the evening with the windows fully opened and the fresh scent of mountain air wafting through the room.
